Located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, situated between both the rugged Oregon Coast and the snow-capped Cascade Mountains, Oregon Wood Lab (OWL) is a wood shop and product design studio inspired by Eugene’s surrounding unique environment.

Oregon Wood Lab’s signature leather table tennis paddles were first created in collaboration with our friends at Back Forty Woods in 2013. These specialty rackets are built by hand using a 5-ply solid hardwood for the core, highly figured Pacific Northwest hardwoods for handles and one of our signature leathers adhered to the playing surface. OWL’s paddles play remarkably well and are also stunning pieces of visual art, guaranteeing that you’ll impress your friends and crush your opponents.

Our goal is to produce unique high-quality products that will be enjoyed for generations. With an interest in product design, woodworking and functional art, Oregon Wood Lab is always excited about developing new projects and we look forward to offering additional items in the near future. We are dedicated to maintaining our Pacific Northwest personality through using locally sourced and reclaimed materials whenever possible.

RETURN POLICY

Our best attempts are made to replicate selected paddles on our website; however due to the natural variation in leather and wood, our handmade table tennis paddles may vary slightly from photos posted online. We only use the highest quality of deerskin and leather hides, yet as a thin game animal deer is subject to natural blemishes and scaring. Beautiful because of its natural appearance and playable because of its supple nature, deerskin is our preferred leather for our custom handcrafted table tennis paddle.

If you are not 100% pleased with your order, simply return your unused racket(s) within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or full refund. Custom branded rackets cannot be returned. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
